The Heritage has seen many of the established world class restaurants either relocate or open their doors at the northern end of the Esplanade away from the Cairns lagoon all just a five minute walk from The Heritage. We couldn't be more fortunate and can now boast at the top end dining range Villa RomanaVilla Romana, Raw Prawn and Barnacle Bills fine Italian cuisine, The Raw Prawn and Barnacle Bills (fabulous seafood), Casa Mesa are all just a short stroll away. Fine dining and the finest choice of wines await you at all of these superb establishments. For the more budget conscious family visitors we are lucky that the finest playground for children in Northern Queensland once again just five minutes stroll away boasts the splendid Skippers restaurant. Here you can relax, take in the sea air, read the papers, talk and eat on a budget as the kids play and choose from an array of large portion meals at a fraction of the price in the more formal establishments. It's so good we all regularly take our children here for a day and it's a great place for a family day out.
Further along the Esplanade is the recently refurbished Cairns RSL where the beers are cold and the meals hot and reasonably priced. Lunch is served buffet style 7 days a week from 12-2.30pm and Dinner Sunday-Thursday from 6-8.30 pm, and 6-9pm Friday and Saturday. Not forgetting we have an extensive takeaway menu and work in conjunction with a delivery company to bring whatever you fancy direct to your door fast.
